Asbjørn F. Kloppenborg

Position:

Asbjørn is enrolled as a PhD student at the Department of Public Health, Aarhus University, founded by Big Data Centre for Environment and Health (BERTHA). In his Ph.D project Asbjørn is using big data sources to investigate the relation between air pollution and the risk of ventricular tachycardia in ventricular arrhythmia patients. In addition to the use of big data in public health research, he will conduct a discussion on ethical quandaries that researchers might appear in when using big data.

The planned finish of his PhD is February 2025.

RUNSAFE affiliation

Asbjørn wrote his Bachelor thesis, “An Exploratory Study of the Dissimilarities in Cumulative Workload during Running”, under supervision from Henrik Sørensen and Rasmus Ø. Nielsen.

During his Ph.D, Asbjørn will assist RUNSAFE in different RUNSAFE projects.

Furthermore Asbjørn has been interested in running dynamics and the possibilities to alter workload during running in association to his job in a running shoe store.
